Born on December 10, 1976, in Sialkot, Umera Ahmed holds three degrees: a Masters in English Literature, an M.A in Religious Studies, and a Bachelor of Law. Her journey began with a passion for writing, contributing to women’s magazines.

Her debut novel, “Zindagi Gulzar Hai,” garnered critical acclaim, earning her the Khawateen Digest Award in 2003. It depicted the life of an ordinary girl, delving into love, relationships, and societal issues.
