ECP ke kuch key functions hain:
- Election Conduct: ECP elections ko conduct karti hai, jaise National Assembly, Senate, Provincial Assemblies, aur local bodies ke elections.
- Electoral Rolls: Electoral rolls ko update karna, voters ki lists maintain karna aur voters ke registrations ko monitor karna bhi ECP ki zimmedari hai.

- Campaign Finance: Elections ke dauran candidates aur parties ke finances ko monitor karna, including spending limits aur sources of funding.
